So if you're at Meijer this week, make sure to take advantage of the Turkey deal that they have going on! $10 off a Turkey 10-16 lbs when you purchase an additional $20 or $18 off a Turkey 17+ lb when you purchase an additional $20. It's pretty easy to spend $20, I spent $20 and found a 17 pound Jennie O Turkey (normally $1.29/lb) after scanning my other purchases, I scanned the Turkey and ended up getting a 17 lb Turkey for just $3.98!!!We always go somewhere for Thanksgiving, so we never get leftover turkey. I typically buy a turkey and make it for a Sunday dinner and of course since my family of 4 can't eat that much, I will shread what we don't eat a freeze it, you can substitute the turkey for any recipe that calls for shredded chicken!
