Kroger trip 1/25 paid $1.16 and saved $43.52!!

I finally finished this post...sorry it took so long! I know I mentioned that Kroger is the place to be...wow I'm so heading back! I bought all of the above for just $1.16 and saved over $43! Now is the time to stockpile the tomato items and the chili items if you get the chance! I did 3 different transactions, here's what I bought and the coupons I used. Kroger is having their Super Mega Sale this week, therefore if you buy 10 participating items you'll receive $5 off instantly at checkout. The only items that were not included in the participating items are the 2 Reese cups and I just bought them as they owed me $.78 and stated they wouldn't give me the change. (I didn't want to lose the money so I bought some candy!) All of the prices below reflect the price before the $5 discount!

Transaction #1
6 Hormel chili w/Beans $1.34 -used (3) $.55/2 from the 1/24 ss
2 Rotel Tomatoes $.99 -used (2) .30 coupons from 1/24 ss (there was also a blinkie machine right above these tomatoes for $.25/1, so even if you don't have the coupons, just grab 10 of these blinkie coupons and buy 10 Rotel cans and you'll get them for FREE! remember the $.25 coupons double and you get the $5 off so you shouldn't pay a penny)
2 Quaker Rice Cakes $1.39 -used (2) $.75 coupons from my Quaker Oatmeal boxes last week
Final Cost: $.52

Transaction #2
6 Hunts Diced Tomatoes $.99 each -used (2) $.35/3 coupons from the blinkie machine that is right above the Hunts Tomatoes
2 Rotel Tomatoes $.99 -used (2) $.30 coupons from 1/24 ss
2 Quaker Rice Cakes $1.39 -used (2) $.75 coupons from my Quaker Oatmeal boxes last week
Final Cost: $.42

Transaction #3
7 Rotel Tomatoes $.99 -used (7) $.30 coupons from the 1/24 ss
2 Quaker Rice Cakes $1.39 -used (2) $.75 coupons from my Quaker Oatmeal boxes last week
1 Mission Tortilla $2.49 -used $1 peelie coupon that I found on the product
Final Cost: -.78, they wouldn't give me any change so I added the 2 Reese Cups that you see above (2/$1)
Final Cost: $.22

Again, this is a great week to stockpile (the Rotel Tomatoes especially) as you don't even need have the coupons as they should be in the blinkie machine above the Rotel Tomatoes at your local Kroger!!!

There are many more items that qualify in the participating items, however these are the ones that I found to be the cheapest. (Plus I had the kids and couldn't afford to stroll around the entire store) I'm heading back so if I find anything else that looks really good, I'll be sure to let you know!
