Paid $7.73 and saved over $38

I happened to stumble across this deal while I was at Meijer on Saturday and buying the last of my Free sausage :c) Back when the above Fast Fixin Chicken Bags were on sale for $2.99, I went and Meijer was out of the bags of Chicken. I asked for a raincheck and they gave me almost a month to use the raincheck. With being on vacation I hadn't used it yet and it also gave me time to find more $1 coupons. As I was walking through Meijer I noticed that if you bought 2 bags of the Fixin Chicken they would take $2 off at the register (the price was $3.99/bag). I wasn't sure how this would work with my $2.99 raincheck...but I decided to find out.

I bought 7 bags of the Fast Fixin Chicken, gave them my raincheck so their reduced the price from $3.99 to $2.99 in addition,
I received $2 off instantly for each 2 that I bought.
I then used (7) $1 coupons from here.
Final Cost for all of the above (the sausage was Free) $7.73 and I saved over $38!!!

I only post this to show the importance of getting a raincheck if a store is out of something...not only does it give you more time to look for coupons but you may also find a better deal a week or 2 later.
