Don't head to the Delaware Walmart!

For all of my coupon buddies in the Delaware, OH area...just wanted to make you aware of the Delaware Walmart on 23 not too far from 36-37.  I've had the run around with them over the last few weeks.  So here's my story...

I ran up there a few weeks ago to buy the Gain dish soap.  Well, when I was checking out with, I think, 7 dish soaps and had 7 coupons from the Sunday insert (not to mention all of my other items) and the cashier told me that they were only allowed to take one coupon.  I advised her that the coupon said "One per Purchase" (which means 1 per purchase of item...therefore you can't use 2 coupons on 1 item) it did not state "One per transaction".  She called the cashier manager over who again told me the same thing.  I ended up calling the manager who was unaware that coupons say different things at the bottom and advised that some coupons even state "One per customer".  He said he would check into it and get back to me...yep, I'm still waiting on that call.  I then decided to email Walmart's Corporate Customer Service.  A week and a half later I finally received a call from the "higher up" manager at the Delaware Walmart and he again said that even if I had 2 identical items with 2 coupons that I would only be allowed to use 1 of the coupons.  I advised him that the Walmart on 23 and Polaris allows you to use 2 coupons on 2 items and he still refused stating they would NOT accept it.  (I also mentioned that all of their competitors, Meijer, Giant Eagle, & Kroger will all let you use 2 coupons on 2 items when the coupon states "One per Purchase.)  Yep, still got me nowhere...So the conversation ended and I stated that I would be driving a few more minutes to the other Walmart that allows me to use 2 identical coupons on 2 identical items.

So, my recommendation...don't head to the Walmart in Delaware!  Honestly, it's not worth the headache! Drive just a few more minutes and head to the Walmart on 23 and Polaris!
