Merry Christmas!

Wow, I can't believe Christmas is almost here. We actually have our Christmas tomorrow and then head to a few different places over the next few days for more Christmas celebrations! And well, Santa's helper has to get on it and stop procrastinating. So I won't be posting all that much today as I've got to finish things up! I won't be posting tomorrow as it will be our Christmas and will be posting sporadically over the next few days.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and take the time to truly remember why we celebrate Christmas.  It's so easy to get wrapped up into presents and giving and getting and making sure we have everything done.  But remember the true reason we have Christmas is that over 2000 years ago there was a baby born in a stable and his name was Jesus.  The story doesn't stop with a baby in a manger, otherwise it would have just been another baby.  Jesus came to this earth, born as a baby and died for our sins in order that we might go to heaven!  If you stop to think about Jesus and the sacrifice that he made for you and I, the craziness of the holidays seem to disappear and we can truly sit back and appreciate how blessed we are!

If you don't currently have a church and you're in the Columbus area, I encourage you to check out our church  Lifepoint currently in Delaware, OH (We will soon be moving to a new location close to Polaris and 23)!  You can check out Lifepoint's website here (click guest central)!  God truly speaks through Dean (our lead pastor) and it's such a blessing to be there!  Dean has the gift of not only teaching and but really applying the Bible to our everyday lives! It's not complicated...it's all about a relationship with Jesus!  And guess what...don't worry about what you wear...it's a very casual church, we wear jeans! Again it's not about what you wear or what you do, it's about a relationship with Jesus!!  (Our lead pastor Dean will not be speaking this coming Sunday,  we do have an associate pastor speaking who, I"m sure, will be great!)  They also have Sunday School for your little ones!

Service times are 9:30 and 11:00 am and here's the address: 715 W William Street, Delaware, OH!
